Our Story
Hillside Castings LLC began in 1994 as a veteran-owned foundry tucked into the hills of Hatfield, Arkansas. From the start, our goal was simple, craft dependable aluminum marine hardware that boat builders could trust.
Today, the foundry is proudly family-owned and operated by a father-daughter team who share a passion for hands-on work and American-made craftsmanship. Every part we pour carries forward the same dedication to quality, integrity, and personal service that built this company from day one.
Where “Hillside” Comes From
Our name is more than a brand, it’s a piece of our history. The original foundry stood on the side of a big Arkansas hill where the first batches of molten aluminum were poured. That “hillside” became our identity and a lasting reminder of our roots, our work ethic, and the pride we take in every casting that leaves our shop.

Our Casting Process
We use High Grade Aluminum known for its clean weldability and durability. Each part is gravity-poured into a permanent cast-iron mold, then carefully hand-finished and inspected to ensure consistency, strength, and a smooth surface finish worthy of your build.
Custom Molds
For builders who need proprietary designs, we also pour customer-owned molds. These molds remain your property, and we cast your hardware exclusively for you—never shared, never resold. It’s a flexible, cost-effective way to secure your own dedicated part line.
